USDA Certified Organic
United States Department of Argiculture Certified Organic is a labeling term that indicates that the food or other agricultural product has been produced through approved methods that integrate cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. Synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation, and genetic engineering may not be used.
Oregon Tilth Certified Organic (OTCO)
The OTCO certification ensures that the agreed upon conventions of organic agricultural systems are being practiced not only by growers, but also by all the people who handle and process organic food on its journey to you, the final consumer.
OTCO provides a system combining strict production standards, verifiable third party inspections, and legally binding affidavits protecting the producers and buyers of organic goods.
OTCO provides certifications for:
- Commercial producers of organic crops and livestock
- Processors of organic foods
- Handlers of organic foods such as packers, brokers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Restaurants that serve certified organically grown and processed foods
KOF-K certification
With the general presence of flavors in all processed food - even in non-food such as tobacco and toothpaste - proper kosher supervision is essential for product quality and your satisfaction assurance. This proper supervision includes the entire inventory of a plant. Everything is checked and approved with every new purchase having prior rabbinical approval while the kosher status of our equipment is being constantly monitored affirming the stringent kosher standards are met.
The rabbinical supervision ensures our syrups and extracts can be certified kosher.
